ULYSSES

Our first Street Theatre production ULYSSES, co-produced with Rabo de Foguete, was commissioned by Arts Council England for Summer performances in 2019 (first showcased under the banner of Still Fluid Productions - our previous sister company name).

 

ABOUT THE SHOW

Join Ulysses on his epic journey following the fall of Troy.  Having angered the Gods, he is cursed to face a world of challenges, monsters and distractions as he battles to return home.  Meanwhile, his wife Penelope battles the demons of isolation and loneliness, not knowing whether her husband will ever return.

 

Rabo de Foguete and Twisted Reality Productions bring new energy to the tale through an exciting unpredictability. Using intoxicating music, rapturous comedy, and powerful physical theatre, they offer a new allegory for a soldier’s return from war.

The show was due to tour in 2020 but these plans were halted due to Covid-19, and we were lucky enough to perform Ulysses as part of Head Out Not Home, Norwich, in 2021 when audiences were first able to experience live theatre again, and we are now making plans for 2022.
